Welcome to Kinni Valley Riding Academy! Here, people of all ages and abilities come to experience joy in the company of horses.

Our training philosophy, developed by owner, trainer, and instructor Carolyn Lowe Laurel, fuses her lifetime of experience in a family riding business, more than 25 years as an equitation instructor and years of clinic experience with internationally acclaimed trainers of dressage and western performance. Whatever your interests and goals, we aim to help you learn how to ride with ease, balance, and fluidity, bringing out the charm and brilliance of your horse. Focus is on relaxed concentration, mind-body connection, and clarity of communication between horse and rider; we see tension, resistance and mechanical tangles melt away. We welcome you as you explore what Carolyn calls “continuous listening” to the spirit of the horse.

At Kinni Valley, riders can take private, semi-private, or group lessons in Western riding or Dressage and ride through 150 acres of woods, streams, and meadows as they forge relationships with some of our 30 talented, gentle lesson horses.
